Company info: Seven Technologies designs, develops and manufactures specialist cyber analytical and monitoring systems, and provides consultancy, research and development, and training services.
Project: The opportunity exists for an individual with an active interest in the active Cyber security domain. This KTP project shall empower the successful applicant with the resources and freedom to develop Wifi Geo-location tools, similar to Kismet but, optimised for a specific requirement.
The successful candidate should be skilled in software design and have a thorough understanding of wireless networking, its protocols and security measures. The development of new geo-location algorithms and components are key to the outputs of the project. Following on from the key aim to geo-locate routers and associated clients the project shall address the capture and analysis of the data with assessment of the encryption levels and decryption options.
Duration: 24 months, with the aim of full time employment within Seven Technologies Ltd, Lisburn at the end
of the project.
Applicant profile: Hold at least a 2.1 Honours Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Candidates with a 2.2 in the above in addition to either a higher degree or one year's relevant industrial experience will also be considered. Further criteria are detailed in the application pack.

Salary scale: Commencing salary will be in the range £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
