Switzerland: Post-Doc program in Plant Sciences

PLANT FELLOWS is open to applicants from all over the world and all fields of research in plant sciences are eligible. 13 European and 7 international universities and research institutes and 3 industry partners were predefined as host organisations on the basis of their excellence in higher education and plant research. 
  An application for a PLANT FELLOWS post doc fellowship is prepared by the applicant in liaison with the chosen host organisation, which is represented by the principal investigator. The principal investigator is a professor or a group leader from one of the predefined host organisations.
Thus don't forget to contact the designated host organisation and the principal investigator prior the application preparation for additional instructions and support.
 
The application has to be made jointly by the applicant and the principal investigator from the chosen host organisation and shall be written in English.
It includes:
 
  • ·       Applicant CV
  • ·       Personal motivation letter describing the reason why the applicant is
  •         interested in the programme
  • ·       Research proposal (including a section on ethical aspects)
  • ·       Personal Development Plan
  • ·       Commitment by host organisation (including a funding request and a finance plan
  •         for the 60% own contribution of the PI)
  • ·       Two letters of recommendation
