Job description: 
Ph.D. position focusing on the design and experimental characterization of building-blocks of nano-scale CMOS system-on-chip transceivers for 60-GHz high-speed wireless communications.
Candidates must show evidences of solid background electronic engineering and experience in radiofrequency circuit design in the microwave and millimetre-wave frequency ranges.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to carry out high-standard competitive research in millimetre-wave ICs design for emerging wireless applications in a leading group with international recognitions within one of the most important world-wide research institutes in ICT cooperating with major microelectronic multinational companies.
Applications are invited from motivated candidates who have, or expect to gain in the next few months, a first class honours degree in microelectronic engineering or electrical and electronic engineering. Detailed CV and at least two contact persons for references are essential for consideration.
