Deadline: As soon as possible
1. Vehicular Networks
We are working for the data forwarding schemes for unicast and multicast in vehicular networks. We take the forward-and-carry approach because the vehicular networks includes Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANET) that are Disruption Tolerant Networks (DTN). As the unicast data forwarding schemes, we have developed (i) Trajectory-Based Data Forwarding (TBD) for Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I), (ii) Trajectory-Based Statistical Forwarding (TSF) for Infrastructure-to-Vehicle (I2V), and (iii) Travel Predication-Based Data Forwarding (TPD) for Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V).
2. Road Sensor Networks
We are working for fundamental techniques for Road Sensor Networks. As a prerequisite function for sensor networking, we have developed a localization for road sensor networks called Autonomous Passive Localization (APL). For the road network surveillance, we have developed a sensor scheduling algorithm called Virtual Scanning Algorithm (VISA).
Announcement
- CPS Lab is looking for self-motivated Post-Doc researchers and graduate students (i.e., Ph.D. and M.S. students) from the world. We can support the tuition and living cost in the College of Information and Communication Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University in Suwon in South Korea. If you have interest, please contact Prof. Jaehoon (Paul) Jeong (pauljeong@skku.edu) by email.
