A fully funded Marie Curie Early Career Researcher position is available for a fixed term of three years to undertake research on dye sensitized and related thin film solar cells. This position is part of the European Marie Curie ‘DESTINY’ Initial Training Network.
The project will involve the preparation and characterisation of mesostructured and dye sensitized solar cells.
The successful candidate will be expected to synthesise a range of materials, make a range of solar cells using these materials and learn how to use a wide range of characterisation techniques to investigate cell properties. In particular the effect of water on cell performance will be studied in detail.
