The successful applicant will undertake clinical duties within the R(D)SVS Farm Animal Practice, Dairy Herd Health and Productivity Service and Farm Animal Teaching Hospital. Residents will carry out research projects and register for an MSc by Research. Additionally, the Resident will be expected to register either for relevant RCVS Certificates, or for the Diploma in European College of Bovine Health Management or European College of Small Ruminant Health Management as appropriate.
The Scholarship is available from 1st October 2012 and will attract a tax-free stipend of £22,000, rising to £24,000 with MSc registration, and a £600 per annum allowance for approved travel, examination fees and CPD meetings. As students, Residents are responsible for paying the appropriate University postgraduate fees.

Farm Animal Health and Production (Cattle or Sheep)

Applications are invited to apply for two R(D)SVS Senior Clinical Training Scholarships (Residencies) in Farm Animal Health and Production, one in Cattle and one in Sheep. These are three-year fixed-term scholarships, with annual review of progress.
