Project description
Research work will deal with the studies of rheological, friction and wear reducing properties of novel ionic liquids. Tribological contacts will be modelled by using various tribometers. A range of surface sensitive techniques will be also used to identify wear mechanisms. The project is a part of a larger international collaboration program.Eligibility and Assessment Criteria
A master degree in mechanical or vehicle engineering, design or product development, applied physics, chemical engineering or similar is required. The applicant should have strong motivation for conducting scientific research. Good analytical skills are of importance. The applicant should also have excellent communication skills in English, be able to work independently as well as in a team, and be able to take initiative.Application
