Job description:
With a view to obtaining more qualified applicants for the position as PhD in Law, the position is now reannounced.

The Department of Law in Odense invites applications for a PhD Fellowship in law. The project must be finished within three years. The starting date will be September 1, 2012 or later, depending on agreement with the candidate.



Application, salary, etc.:

The successful candidate will be enrolled at this university in accordance with the agreement of 1 October 2008 on salaried PhD scholars between the Ministry of Finance and AC (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations) and in agreement with faculty regulations and the Danish Ministerial Order on the PhD Program at the Universities (PhD executive order). The candidate will be enrolled as a PhD student at the PhD School at the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences.

Appointment as a PhD student is for three years. Employment stops automatically at the end of the period. The holder of the Fellowship is not allowed to have other paid employment during the period.

Application must include the following:

• Filled in application form available on our web page www.sdu.dk/sam/phduk under the section Application forms for enrolment. Here, you will also find guidelines for preparing your project proposal within the PhD Programme for Law
• Detailed CV, including personal contact information and list of publications (if any)
• Certified copies of Examinations papers, Master- and Bachelor diploma
• A provisional project description of maximum 5 pages
• An abstract (max 250 words) of the project description mentioned above
• Letter of recommendation
• Information on teaching experience or other forms of knowledge communication

All non-Danish documents must be translated into English and certified.

Applications will be assessed by a committee. When the course committee has submitted its report, the applicant will receive the part of the evaluation that concerns him/her.

Incomplete applications and applications received after the deadline will neither be considered nor evaluated.
