Norway: One postdoctor position in “Optical spectroscopy of III-V semiconductor nanowires” at Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim.

One postdoctor position (duration of two years) is available at the in Faculty of Information Technology, Mathematics and Electrical Engineering (IME), Norwegian University of Science and Technology. The position is funded by NTNU.

We seek highly qualified individuals holding a PhD degree in physics (specialized in semiconductor physics and optics), physical electronics or other relevant disciplines. The candidate should have extensive experience from optical characterization of semiconductor nanostructures (e.g. nanowires, quantum dots). Experience from nanostructure device characterization is an added advantage.

The position is remunerated according to salary code 1352, entry salary level 57-76 on theNorwegianStatesalary scale. This amounts to an annual gross salary of NOK 455 900 – 654 600 (1 NOK ~ 0.13 EUR), of which 2% is deducted for the Norwegian Public Service Pension Fund. Salary will be subject to agreement with your employer.
