Job description
You will be a member
of the AIRSPACE project team, together with medical and imaging
physicists, radiologists, and industrial partners, to develop,
implement, and apply advanced CT imaging technology for diagnosing acute
stroke patients. You will develop new models to quantify cerebral blood
flow, blood volume, collateral flow, and intactness of the blood-brain
barrier, all at high resolution and preferably with limited use of
radiation. New models and acquisition protocols will be developed and
tested. You will work in close collaboration with two other Ph.D.
candidates and a number of clinical researchers.
Requirements
You
have a masters degree in (bio-)physics, engineering, image sciences, or
a comparable training and have a strong interest in medical physics and
medical imaging, and have excellent (scientific) programming skills,
including experience with Matlab. You also have a good scientific
background, are highly motivated and independent, and have a team-player
attitude.
