Organic Chemistry and Biochip Lab of Prof. Kim Taisun at Hallym University seeks to recruit promising PhD research students. The selected students will conduct research on the [Synthetic Organic and Bioorganic Chemistry] and [Synthesis and Application of NanoBio-Hybrid Materials].

Promising candidates will be given a good Scholarship (~ 1000 USD). To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree as of December 01, 2012
-For Master’s program (or Integrated Master’s & Doctoral program): students should hold a Bachelor’s degree or a diploma that is equivalent to or higher than Bachelor’s degree
-For Doctoral program: students should hold a Master’s degree or a diploma that is equivalent to or higher than Master’s degree.
Important Requirements:
-Good background in the cognate area(s) of research
-Good English language skills- written and oral (Test (Score), TOEFL (550), CBT (210), iBT (80), IELTS (5.5), TEPS (550)).
-Good programming skills
-Good ability to cooperate with others in a multicultural environment
-Good ability for highly motivated independent research
