The Institute of Asia Pacific Studies (IAPS), which is affiliated to the School of Politics and International Relations, University of Nottingham, is pleased to offer two Tomlinson postgraduate research studentships for up to 3 years full time study (subject to progress) for students who register in September 2013.
The studentships will be to the value of £3825 HEU fees plus bursary of up to the value of £10,000 per annum approximately (figures for 2012 entry). These awards will be ranked on a competitive basis by a School panel. This competition is open to all, however European and International students offered the Tomlinson Studentships will be asked to apply for the International Office Vice-Chancellor’s Research Excellence Scholarships, which can be combined with a Tomlinson Studentship.
Applications for this Studentship are invited from those wishing to pursue studies into ethnic conflict to work under the supervision of the IAPS incoming Chair, Professor Katherine Adeney, or whose research interest is in Asia-Pacific Security (broadly conceived).
