Netherlands: The department of Radiology at the LUMC is looking for three PhD-students

Job description

Within the section interventional molecular imaging of the Radiology department, we have a vacancy for three PhD-students. As a researcher you will contribute to the development and evaluation of new imaging agents for nerves. These studies are part of the ILLUMINATING NERVES project (ERC starting grant).

Requirements

We are looking for a 3 PhD-students/OIO’s with:
  • A background in organic- and/or supramolecular chemistry;
  • An affinity for molecular imaging and image guided surgery;
  • Good communicative skills and who functions well within a multidisciplinary research team.
Skilled candidates with a (bio)medical background are also encouraged to apply.

Conditions of employment

You will be employed for 36 hours a week, for a four-year period. The salary depends on your training and experience, with a maximum of € 2,743 (scale OIO, CAO UMC).
Contract type: Temporary, for a period of 4 years.
