Project Information: Post 1: The Graduate will optimise existing mixes, production processes and develop cost-effective products to improve competiveness and the profits. The new mixes will have improved engineering performance by using waste materials such as fly ash, GGBS (Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag), quarry dust, and recycling aggregates and a novel low carbon concrete will also be developed.
Post 2: The Graduate will establish an innovative structural design capability in the company, supporting new product development and compliance with emerging standards to significantly grow the market for innovative low cost products.

Duration: The contracts are for 24 months duration.
Applicant Profile: We require Graduates who hold at least an accredited 2:1 Honours degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a closely related discipline. Further details are available in the application pack. Please specify in your application if you have a preference for either position.
Anticipated interview date: Friday 11th October 2013
Salary scale: Commencing salary will be in the range of £18,000 - £22,000 per annum. One of the key KTP benefits for graduates is access to an £8,000 training travel budget. It is also worth noting that the majority of KTP Associates are offered full time employment with the company partner at the end of their projects.
