Denmark: Several PhD positions at Department of Photonics

DTU Fotonik seeks qualified candidates for a number of vacant PhD positions as listed on DTU Fotonik home page. Candidates can also apply for individual project proposals on this ad. However, it is a must the the candidate are in dialog with a supervisor regarding the specific project The procedure for these projects is described below.

Individual research projects
In case the other mentioned projects do not match your interests, you are allowed to provide a project description of your own. In this case, you are required to first contact a potential supervisor directly in order to agree on the project description and supervision. Applicable for all scholarship
Candidates should have a master’s in engineering or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to the master’s degree in engineering.

The scholarships for the PhD degree are subject to academic approval, and the candidates will be enrolled in one of the general degree programmes of DTU. For information about the general requirements for enrolment and the general planning of the scholarship studies, please see the DTU PhD Guide.

The salary and appointment terms are consistent with the current rules for PhD degree students. The period of employment is 3 years.
