Sustainable Packaging: Product, Production, and Supply Chain Development Packaging products and processes of their use and supply should be optimally designed to minimise waste in supply chains and maximise reuse. For packaging product suppliers, it is challenging to achieve above objectives while pursuing maximal sales and profit. This project will develop product and supply chain assessment and design tools for packaging product OEMs so that effective strategies for packaging product supply reuse remanufacturing can be integrated with customised product development, to optimise economic and ecological performance of packaging product suppliers and their supply chains. The ideal candidate should have knowledge in production engineering and experience in product development for manufacturing companies. Understanding of supply chains and logistics management would be an advantage.
