Personal Social Services Research Unit
- have a postgraduate degree in a subject relevant to economics, psychology or in a mental health related area, where a high merit overall and a merit in the dissertation (minimum 65% in both cases) (or equivalent) has been obtained;
- have the ability to analyse and research complex ideas, theories, and to apply appropriate methodologies;
- have experience of conducting research, and applying economic modelling techniques in the health, mental health or social care areas;
- have advanced English language skills (written and oral);
- have excellent written and oral communication skills;
- have the ability to undertake a PhD at the School from October 2013 and complete the programme by 30 September 2016.
Salary: £35,973 - £39,276 p.a.
