Description
The CAPE PhD Scholarship has been established to support postgraduate students towards the degree of Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Canterbury within the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering. Up to two scholarships may be awarded each year, and tenure is available for up to three years.

Eligibility
1. Applicants wishing to apply for this scholarship would normally have one of the following:
- A Bachelor's degree (in Engineering, Technology or Science) with 1st or 2nd class honours
- A Master's degree (in Engineering, Technology or Science)
2. Applicants currently in their final year of study for such a tertiary qualification are eligible to apply for the scholarship, but any award made would be conditional upon the successful completion of that tertiary qualification.
3. Applicants must have also met English language requirements prior to applying for this scholarship (see http://www.canterbury.ac.nz/admissions/international/english.shtml).
4. Applicants may apply for this scholarship only twice.
