Biomedical Engineering
MS and PhD positions are available at the Center of Intelligent Signal
and Imaging Research under Mission Oriented Research (MOR)-Biomedical
Engineering at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia.
The positions are open to students in any of the following fields:
1) Signal and image processing for brain dynamics
2) Visual surveillance using multiple cameras
3) Biomedical signal and image processing
Partial Scholarship
1)Fee waiver only
2)The student is expected to bear their own living expenses (about US$250 per month)
Requirements
The position is open to candidates having experience in any of the above fields. A good software programming skill in MATLAB and C++ is required. For brain signal & image processing, experience preferred in E-Primes and EEGLab. For visual surveillance, experience preferred on video analytics using multiple cameras.
Candidate is required to possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to consult, interact and have ability to work independently towards problem solving.
